Racing simulation in eSports is a largely untapped market when it comes to competitive gaming on a professional scale. VRX has been a part of several tournaments over the years, including World Gaming's "Are You Canada's Fastest Driver?" with Forza Motorsport 7 and "The Canadian Championship" with Gran Turismo Sport.
With the installation of ESPORTS CENTRAL (Montreal, Canada), VRX now has a permanent installation in the eSports arena, with six iMotion simulators as one of the main attractions for the space.
Players can compete in tournaments and earn their way to the top of the ranks and further grow the increasingly popular fusion between gaming and competitive sporting events.
With over 14,000 sq ft of space, ESPORTS CENTRAL also features dining options, as well as several other gaming and VR attractions, to create an "under-one-roof" experience for enthusiasts and casual gamers alike.
This is just the first of several projects, as British Columbia can expect its own eSports stadium called the Gaming Stadium in the coming months.
